Case Studies | Samueldesigns
A closer look at the research‑driven, human‑centered projects that shaped my recent UX work.
My case studies highlight how I combine academic research, behavioral insight, and thoughtful design to solve real problems for real people. Each project reflects a full end‑to‑end process—from understanding user needs and conducting hands‑on research to shaping interaction patterns, refining visual design, and aligning solutions with business goals. Below, you’ll find the three projects that best represent my current work and growth as a UX designer.
Credit-NoSIS App
IThe Credit Management App was created as part of a UX design project on Coursera to help users make sense of their credit score, understand the factors that influence it, and take guided steps toward improving their financial health. Many people feel overwhelmed by credit terminology, unsure how to interpret their score, and confused about what actions will actually make a difference. Early research revealed two distinct user needs: individuals like Rachel, who seek reassurance, clarity, and emotional support, and users like Omar, who want transparency, efficiency, and data‑driven insights.
Credit-NoSIS Web
This responsive credit‑management website was created as part of my UX Design coursework to help users clearly understand their credit score, the factors influencing it, and the steps they can take to improve their financial health. Early research showed that many people feel overwhelmed by credit terminology and unsure which actions truly matter, revealing two key user types: individuals like Rachel who need clarity and emotional reassurance, and users like Omar who prefer transparent, efficient, data‑driven insights.
